As a Performance Consultant of 5-Star Performance Solutions, Marguerite has worked with a wide variety of clients in the industries of military, non-profit, government, telecommunications and manufacturing. The organizations include Northrop Grumman Newport News Shipbuilding, Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast Council and the County of York, VA County Services.
Currently, Marguerite manages the development of training participant materials, and the training evaluation process, while additionally supporting client training needs analysis and developing new courseware for customized requests. Her personal and professional goal in life is to empower working citizens, and improve business performance through the means of workplace education.
She recently managed a team at a national electronics call center to create an optimal new-hire training program that incorporated multiple instructors and systems. She partnered in the development and instruction of a communications course to prepare 1500 civilians at Langley Air Force Base for the roll out of the new National Security Personal System. She has constructed and facilitated customized courses for U.S. Fleet Forces Command, the managerial staff in the City of
Newport News Library System, and the leadership staff of the non-profit organization, Lutheran Family Services.
Prior to joining 5-Star Training and Consulting as a performance consultant, Marguerite was a corporate trainer with Trilegiant, a division of Cendant Corporation. Her background experience includes training in sales and customer service for their Customer Contact Centers. Her areas of focus were in new hire orientation and one-on-one coaching.
She has a B.S. in Business Administration from
Old
Dominion
University,
Norfolk
VA, and an M.S. in Business and Industry Training in their Occupational and Technical Studies graduate program. Marguerite also has a nationally recognized certification, Workplace Performance and Learning Professional (CPLP), from the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD).
