Ron  is the current President of the Southeast VA Chapter of American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) and a member of the National Speaker Association, Society of Human Resource Managers, the American Society of Safety Engineers and Virginia Ship Repair Association. Ron also has the nationally recognized certification, Workplace Performance and Learning Professional (CPLP), from ASTD, and has served as an evaluator in their annual certification process. 

Ron has spoken in events and meetings in multiple industries including school systems, churches, social services, SHRM, and ASTD.
