Supervisors and managers in business today are faced with an increasing responsibility to maximize output through their employees. They often receive their promotion into leadership because of personal work ethic and skill; unfortunately, that does not mean they have also obtained the knowledge or ability to be successful leaders.
Our programs are designed for the express purpose of developing the soft skills of supervisors and new leaders in any type of work environment. The concepts are current, simple and show results when implemented. The topic descriptions listed below outline the general purpose of the program. We offer both off-the-shelf and the more popular customized courses. All learners have access to our Training Participant Resources for guidance on additional self-study of the topic.
Our experience has shown us a minimum course length of four hours, and eight to twenty participants work best for performance oriented training. The class size allows the instructor to connect with each of the participants and effectively engage them in the learning process. In addition to presenting we use multiple activities such as group discussions, video, audience response system, and practice sessions which allow the learner to grasp the practical application of simple yet effective leadership principles.
